Requires at least a baccalaureate degree in the field. Please

Position Summary
The UGA SNAP-Ed Research Professional will be responsible for the
collection, management, and analysis of formative, process, and
outcome evaluation data; coordinate the development and delivery of
policy, systems, and environmental (PSE) change interventions; and
support the design and pilot-testing of education materials for the
UGA SNAP-Ed as required by USDA.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
- Strong interest in foods and nutrition.- Knowledge of evaluation
of community-based nutrition programs using quantitative and
qualitative research methods.- Demonstrated ability to communicate,
interact, collaborate, and network with a variety of stakeholders
focused on a common goal or mission.- Excellent interpersonal and
group process skills with variety of people in a team setting.-
Ability to organize and prioritize activities to meet identified
program and fiscal objectives.- Ability to work with under-served
populations.- Ability to work as a team member and with groups and
committees.- Ability to plan, manage, and perform in multi-tasking
environment.
