What You'll Do in This Position
Provide for a Support Oasis to the End Users seeking process
guidance for financial routines.
Audit End Users performing Service Subcontract accruals, invoicing
processing, invoice matching, invoice submittals to Accounts
Payable, and End of Year Closeout.
Coordinate opportunities for continuous education where needed and
routine refresher training for all End Users performing Service
Subcontract activities.
Responsible for assisting or directly organizing, developing,
analyzing, and maintaining financial analysis required to monitor
established departmental objectives.
Assignment to one of the groups within Financial Operations:
Accounting , Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Travel, Benefits
Accounting, Payroll, Contract Accounting or Strategic Financial
Control and Analysis.
Major Responsibilities
Promote and demonstrate world-class safety behavior in order to

Conduct all aspects of work safely and securely, continuously
improving in pursuit of injury- and incident-free performance.
Reporting and Analysis
Conduct primary queries, download data, analyze results to generate
financial reports.
Prepare and provide financial information and analysis and ad hoc
reporting on a department and company level.
Assist in preparation of financial reports along with corresponding
recommendations.
Analyze, interpret, and report monthly and yearly financial
reports.
Under general supervision, analyze assigned general ledger accounts
and make reconciliations in accordance with GAAP (Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles), established procedures and
deadlines.
Communication
Communicate effectively (both oral and written) with Finance
Operations team members, internal company customer organizations,
and external customers to resolve issues in general finance
areas.
Exhibit good oral and written communication skills to effectively
and accurately present information and express ideas.
Display interpersonal skills to maintain positive working
relationships through cooperation and open communication.
Business Acumen
Possess an integrated understanding of the general business
environment.
Monitor, analyze, and audit financial and accounting transactions
to ensure good business practices and adherence to contract and
corporate policies.
Support audits of selected financial and accounting functions to
ensure adherence to contract and corporate guidelines.
Talent & Process Development
Pursue continuous learning opportunities to further develop skill
base.
Identify and initiate continuous improvement opportunities in
specific subject area.

Security Clearance Information
SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and
background review that includes checks of personal references,
credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education

and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires
U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review

Bachelors degree in Business Administration
Other Qualifications
The ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
Qualifications We Desire
1. Strong working knowledge of PeopleSoft, Excel, and Word
applications.
2. Strong interpersonal skills for the following:
a. Working closely with other team members.
b. Willingness to share knowledge and techniques with all team
members for the success of the project.
c. Be able to coach and mentor End User personnel in their skills
to meet mission goals aligned to proper accounting processes.
3. Ambition to develop the informal auditing processes to achieve
optimal performance/output.
4. Ability to produce creative and meaningful statistics for the
purposes of developing a Score Card to define team success.
