  Unit: 5M - Cardiac Position Summary:
  The RN fulfills the needs of patients, families, and the community by delivering comprehensive patient care in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provides care in a competent, compassionate, and efficient manner
  • Applies understanding of age-specific needs across the lifespan
  • Performs initial and ongoing assessments , documents findings, and plans care accordingly
  • Completes admission assessments within required timeframes per policy
  • Demonstrates strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to a range of treatment needs Required Qualifications:
    • RN License - Active in the applicable state or multi-state compact license
    • Certifications:
      • NIHSS - Required
      • BLS (AHA) - Required
      • ACLS (AHA) - Required
      • CPI - Must have Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI With Advanced Physical Skills Training
      • Education:
        • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program - Required
        • BSN - Highly Desired 2+ years of Med/Surg RN experience - Required
          2+ years of overall RN experience - Required
