*Responsibilities*
* Implement infection control measures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases within the healthcare facility.
* Conduct regular patient observations to identify potential infections and implement appropriate interventions.
* Manage and maintain accurate data related to infection rates, patient outcomes, and compliance with protocols.
* Utilize knowledge of epidemiology and medical terminology to assess and address infection control issues effectively.
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure adherence to HIPAA regulations and best practices in infection prevention.
* Stay updated on current guidelines and best practices in infection control to continuously improve patient care.

*Summary*

As an Infection Prevention Coordinator, you will be instrumental in safeguarding patient health by implementing and monitoring infection control protocols. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, your core skills in patient care, catheterization, and nursing will be essential in assessing and managing infection risks. Your RN/LPN license and knowledge of epidemiology will guide your efforts in educating staff and patients. With premium skills in EHR systems and critical care experience, you will ensure compliance with health regulations and promote best practices in infection prevention across the organization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.50 - $30.00 per hour
