position is supervisory and has direct reports. This role is
responsible for the overall management of multiple diverse asset
management functions within Situs Asset Management (SAM). The
incumbent is expected to mentor staff, develop and present
solutions to address and resolve performance issues, and represent
the company through client interactions. This position requires a
strong command of loan underwriting and loan valuation as it
relates to most property types with the ability to handle all
transaction types without input from senior management. This
position involves a high level of interaction and communication
between management, SAM staff as well as clients and various third
parties, ensuring SAM is meeting service level
expectations.Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee staff assigned to perform periodic asset reviews,
reserve and construction draw reviews and other credit functions
related to asset management; determine servicing requirements and
key requirements as needed.
- Oversee asset management specific training for new hires and
contribute to the design of content for continued education and
required training hours for all asset management personnel.
- Oversee task allocation and staffing utilization for all client
dedicated and pooled asset management personnel to ensure equitable
distribution of labor while maintaining a high level of quality
deliverables to clients.
- Ensure tasks assigned to asset management personnel are
completed timely and adhere to all internal control requirements,
audit standards and client requirements.
- Ensure asset management personnel receive regular feedback on
performance, goal achievement and professional development.
- Possess Excel skills sufficient to perform vlookup, pivot and
other functions to understand and reconcile data.
- Demonstrate and encourage continuous process evaluation to
identify ways to improve efficiency, productivity, and accuracy.
Draft related processes and procedures as needed.
- Relationship management with all clients and external parties.
Manage client expectations, serve as primary point of contact for
conflict resolution, process clarification and personnel issues;
escalate to senior leadership where appropriate.
- Identify and understand client's scope of work and how SAM can
add value to the client's business strategies.
- Ability to oversee all aspects of fieldwork as well as subject
property's competitive position and provide feedback to clients on
findings and conclusions.
- Analyze and interpret legal documents associated with asset
management, including loan documents and servicing agreements.
- Represent SitusAMC in resolving non-compliant issues through
verbal and written communication with both internal and external
parties.
- Perform QC on completed work products and communicate feedback
as needed.
- Stay abreast of changes in industry standards.
- Such other activities as may be required in the normal course
of business, or as assigned by management.Qualifications/
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with a preferred field of study; Accounting,
Finance, Real Estate, business or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
- MBA preferred
- Minimum of 15+ years of industry and/or relevant experience,
typically with 2+ years in an SVP level role or external
equivalent
- Proven experience in real estate, REO resolutions and workout
strategies
- Thorough understanding of real estate valuation methodology,
analyzing income and expense rates, property valuation and leases
for all commercial property types
- Proven experience with tenant and borrower level credit
overviews
- High comfort level with use of various industry related
software systems including Argus advanced functionality
- Strong Excel skills
- Ability to multitask
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong analytical abilities, good judgment, strategic and
process thinking

- Ability to manage direct reportsThe annual full time base
salary range for this role is $120,000.00 - $225,000.00. Specific
compensation is determined through interviews and a review of
relevant education, experience, training, skills, geographic
location and alignment with market data. Additionally, certain
positions may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus as
determined by bonus program guidelines, position eligibility and
SitusAMC Senior Management approval. SitusAMC offers PTO and paid
holidays, the terms of which are set forth in the program policies.
