• A master's degree in an agricultural, business, or related discipline with directly applicable experience would also be considered.Position SummaryThis position develops project-based learning opportunities within the UGA Innovation District with varied industry partners to cultivate the knowledge and technology needed to improve productivity, profitability and sustainability of industries in agriculture.Duties/Responsibilities
  • Oversees the development and implementation of a strategic plan for industry outreach to build and enhance research projects, educational opportunities, and internships based in the UGA Innovation District.
  • Creates new and durable collaborative models with corporate partners.
  • Coordinates multi-disciplinary opportunities/proposals across colleges/institutes.
  • Promotes CAES and the University's capabilities.
  • Develops University-industry research agreements.
  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with a wide range of campus stakeholders.
  • Manages and/or participates in campus student recruiting programs.
  • Effectively utilizes job market trends and industry information.
  • Serves as point of contact for College website content.
