Job Description:
A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to ensure the
quality, integrity, and security of its data assets.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross-functional project teams to design effective reporting
solutions and implement data validation standards
Maintain a centralized metadata catalog documenting data assets,
schemas, and lineage
Monitor data access logs and audit trails to detect unauthorized
access or usage of data
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in data engineering or data integration
with a focus on data modeling
2+ years of experience with lakehouse architecture
Experience mentoring a team of data engineers
Proficiency with data pipeline tools and platforms such as dbt,
Databricks, and AWS
Experience with databases such as AWS Redshift, MySQL, and
Postgres
